OPI Warm and Fozzie!

Am I the only one who can't say "warm and fozzie" in a normal voice? Every time I get to the "fozzie" part, I HAVE to say it like Agnes says "Its so Fluffy" in the Movie Despicable Me. See Video below:

Today I'm sporting one of OPI's brand new holiday colors from the Muppets Collection. I happened to stumble on this before its official release at a local nail polish shop. The shop overcharges for its nail polish, but I often find some real gems hidden in their tiny display. I recently stumbled upon China Glaze OMG and 2 bottles of FYI!!! I guess Ill keep supporting them as long as they keep digging out oldies (and new goodies) from the back.

I'm absolutely lovin' this color! Its brown... with hints of gold... and orange... and green. Its amazing! This may possibly become one of my favorites for fall. The formula on this one was a bit thick, I can see myself adding a few drops of thinner in the near future. The coverage was good. It took two coats to full opacity. A third coat may have been in order, but I was satisfied with just two. As usual, this polish came with OPI's standard Pro-Wide brush which made application a breeze. Below I  have one coat of Essie's Fill the Gap, 2 coats Warm and Fozzie, topped with 1 coat Essie Good to Go.

Enjoy your week! Take good care of your nails!

Welcome!

I wanted to start a blog to share my obsession with nails as my husband has seemed to have lost interest..... Or maybe he just got tired of faking his interest? Who knows! Either way, my nails are just about always painted, and I want to share my designs with all of you. You can expect to see lots of colors, a few designs, and quite a bit of glitter! Im a pale warm toned red head, and a lot of colors that look amazing on bloggers end up looking meh on me. (And vise versa) Im excited to document the journey of my nails and I truly hope that you will join me on this adventure.

I begin by posting something really exciting this morning! NAIL MAIL! Every nail polished obsessed girl LOVES getting this! I sometimes participate in nail polish swaps with ladies that I meet online. Its a really good way to obtain polishes that are not available in your region or that have been discontinued before you got your hands on them. This is a picture of my most recent swap. OPI Crown me Already, OPI Its my Year, and Orly Rock Solid. The sender was amazing and included a few more "fun" things to add to my package! Im most excited for the LA Colors Base Coat. Its a cheap base coat that you can find in Dollar Stores in the States but you can not find in Canada. Despite all the base coats I already have, this one is said to work amazing with tricky to apply Holographic polishes. I cant wait to try it! Swaps are fun! Im just getting into them, and Im quickly realizing that the fun in the package comes from seeing and selecting the "extras" that come with the package.

Have a good week!
